Comunicating with Farmbot

Hi everybody!
I would like to add these functionalities:

  1. Make farmbot able to complete a full cultivation cycle autonomously

  2. Make it able to work on a two floor vertical farming module (20 cm between the 2 floors)

  3. Make it able to harvest

What do you think is the best way to proceed writing the software?

For the listed functionalities you will also need some additional hardware and tools.
Before you write any line of code you should have a solution for every additional hardware tool as well as a general concept about the different tasks and how they interact.
