Yes, I’ve had pleasant experiences with Ubuntu snaps on the Intel Joule platform.
Since raspbian is in the Debian family, I may see whether that’s a solution on the Raspberry Pi 3 in the FarmbotOS environment

Maybe! But I might not be understanding the question correctly. Are you suggesting we allow direct upload of Elixir code, or we create a “friendlier” DSL for CeleryScript that is interpreted by the Elixir application?

Your farmbot-js JS package does very useful and convenient things “behind the scenes”, so I’m still thinking how that JS integrates with a ( proposed ) simple DSL that people might use with their own machines to do their bespoke gardening tasks
