How FARMBOT detect the weeding

Dear All,

I have a question, how farmbot detect and do weeding when the crops grow big? The camera might be covered by the leaves and the weed is underneath it.

Can the farmbot still do weeding at this condition?

FarmBot detects and destroys weeds when the plants are small so that the weeds aren’t able to outcompete the crops. When the crops are big and well-established, they have a strong advantage over the weeds in resource competition.
