I have my farmduino on the bench trying to get it running. I get things like the OS to boot fine but i cant flash the farmduino board. I just get an error. Does anyone else have this problem? Tried with two different Pi zero w. This is for a Express 1.0 with farmduino 1.0 i think

Yes, the farmduino is alive
But i still cant flash the farmduino. The board seems to have the correct leds lightning up. Is there any special drivers or such that has to be installed on the computer before? Is there another way to flash the board than from the webinterface?
Yes. Have you checked the FarmBot Developer Documentation ?
You can use an Arduino IDE to do this.
Maybe you need to have your Order Number ready and then
I have the Farmduino express 1.0 and that pcb dont have any usb ports on it. Ho can i flash through arduino ide then?
That’s true. You could use a 3.3V TTL to USB cable such as this one.
But flashing the Farmduino firmware standalone is probably only good for helping to narrow down the cause(s) of your problem.
The standard FarmbotOS software will always attempt to flash the Farmduino firmware on every boot up.
Then i guess my farmduino board is faulty. too bad but i think i will order a genesis board for my build anyways
