FarmBot silently skipping scheduled tasks

Hello,

I noticed that Farmbot may skip scheduled tasks for no apparent reasons.
When skipping - it doesn’t write anything into the log on why it skipped the task - it looks like it was never scheduled.

Do you know what it might be?
Eugene

Hey Eugene,

I had the same thing weeks ago. Farm-events that schedule normal sequences were just skipped (even with proper sync). Scheduling regimens that contain the desired sequence were working, so I didn’t do any further research assuming that something went wrong on my side.

It does not look like the problem on user level
I scheduled these events long time ago and did not touch anything for weeks, yet events sometime called and sometimes not

Hello , i have the same issue , do you have a fix on that ?

I have just witnessed this.

I thought I made an error or not be reading it correctly, so I reset the schedule and then watched the time tick past. The scheduled event disappeared from the list, and nothing happened. I was able to manually trigger it, but the scheduled event did nothing.

I’ve encountered the same problem as well; it happened last week. I tried removing all scheduled tasks and creating new ones, but it didn’t resolve the issue.

We just released a new version of FarmBot OS that resolves an issue causing events to fail to run in certain circumstances (details here). It is possible these circumstances were present with your bots as well @mvillion and @tonytwong. Please update to the latest version as soon as you can.

If your problems persist, please let us know. Ideally, you can provide a distilled simple way to reproduce the issue.
