The part already exists! I had @Marc (https://forum.farmbot.org/u/Marc) help me and he brought along some spare parts. I got lucky and he gave me one that fit perfectly over top, tee nuts used to anchor it and I only had to drill one hole in the piece. … gotta love google photo… I found my picture!
