An unused FarmBot Genesis XL v1.6 in its original packaging is for sale. The original invoice is also available, of course.
I am selling it because my circumstances have changed at short notice and I no longer have a garden.

Brief summary of the differences between 1.7 and 1.8 and 1.6:
- Some parts are now delivered pre-assembled.
- Parts such as guide rails and beams have been redesigned with the aim of reducing the overall weight.
- UTM has been fitted with stronger magnets.
- The power supply unit has been reduced in size (weight saving).
However, nothing has changed in terms of the basic features. On the contrary: if the additional weight does not bother you, v1.6 is definitely the heavier and perhaps more robust version.
Thus, the only real difference is the UTM. If you value having the improved version of the UTM, you can purchase it for £60.
