I’ve seen posts from a while back…and there have been updates that make them obsolete so I’m perplexed…I’m trying to make a sequence to water a group of plants, but the groups are not available in the drop down menu when trying to add a variable. Very frustrating as I created a similar sequence last year without problems
Hi @AndyPCDS yes, I think I see the same “issue” . .
During Sequence creation, I want to add a Location variable and give it a Default value of one of my Plant Groups . . I don’t see any Groups at all in the dropdown list, so I give it the value None.
Now I can Run this sequence manually and get an input dialogue window where I do see my Groups !
I believe that Location Variables which are Externally defined in a sequence require this sequence to be executed by a “higher level” sequence which assigns a chosen Plant Group to that variable name before beginning the “subordinate” sequence execution.
E.g. Look at the FarmBot Featured Sequence Water Using Curve.
