Has anyone tried to put a farmbot express in a grow tent under led lights? I have a few grow tents in my basement growing cucumbers, tomatoes and peppers.
@Oskar We had this question come up a while back and I provided an answer here.
The short answer is that FarmBot was designed with greenhouse and outdoor growers in mind rather than LED/hydroponic setups, so there will be design constraints that will work against some aspects of LED growing. Most notably, we’ve seen that LED growers need to build automated hoist systems to raise/lower the lights when FarmBot is working. It is not impossible to do a 100% LED grow with FarmBot, but accounting for the fact that LED lights expect to hover 18-24 inches above canopy will create challenges for the FarmBot.
