I’ve been meaning to ask this question for a while now. I was reading this horrifying article and was thinking about it again.
Short answer … I don’t know. BUT … having done some work on RoHS for other products, it seems to me that the main thing to be concerned about would be the Pi, Arduino, and Ramps shield. The Pi and Arduino are listed on many sites as being RoHS compliant. The ramps shield and stepper drivers would depend on who made and a bit hard to tell but it looks like several websites claim at least some of them are. If I had to bet on if the farmbot was RoHS compliant or not, I would bet that it was RoHS compliant.
