We are just starting with our new FarmBot Genesis XL1.8, we can get the seeder to pick up the seed (spinach), but when it goes to plant it, everytime it drops before penetrating the soil. Change the depth Z-depth values have not solved this issue. Help?
Unfortunately, some types of seeds work better than others with the seeder tool. For the best results we suggest using pelleted seeds because they are perfectly spherical and they fit onto the tip of the luer lock needle.
In some instances, it may be more practical just to plant the seed by hand and use the FarmBot seeder tool to mark the exact location co-ordinates (X,Y, Z) of the seeds.
