Lower level control of the motors

Is there a way to have more direct control of the motors?

I recently tried the ‘circular’ motion sequence and it was not a smooth ride. I beleive the hardware would be able to cope with the motion so in my mind it must be a software thing.

Any thoughts on this?

FBOS has a module that allows sending arbitrary serial commands direct to the firmware (Farmduino MCU code).

Lua sandbox provides the gcode() function ( with the same effect ).
