Pogo pins super hot

I’ve been trying to verify my UTM tools. It wasn’t connecting. I moved the jumper link to the top of the seeder tool and it worked. Did the same with the watering tool and it wasn’t connecting. I took it off and gave the pogo pins a punch and they were super hot, like I’m worried about what degree of burn I have on my finger. Has anyone come across this? Have disconnected the UTM tool and turned the machine off in the interim.

Hi @auskearney What result when you revert your change on the Seeder tool ?

Tool Verification mounted for a tool succeeds when

  • The Tool has pins B and C permanently electrically connected (jumpered)
  • FBOS can “see” that connection between B and C (depends on Pogo-Pins and UTM cable)

Have you used the handy FarmBot Inc. Documentation ?

Edit:

That’s definitely wrong… maybe you jumpered pins other than B and C ?
