I’ve encountered this issue several times. After powering off and then powering on again, the device won’t automatically connect to Wi-Fi. I have to reconfigure it by flashing the SD card. Based on the stability of Wi-Fi, I have the following suggestions. I’m not sure if they’re feasible.
Can the built-in Wi-Fi detection or Wi-Fi configuration information be improved?
-
Once Wi-Fi information is written, it becomes read-only and can only be rewritten through the configuration window. Otherwise, the configuration remains read-only.
-
Add a Wi-Fi loss reconfiguration mechanism, such as a loop that checks for Wi-Fi availability and automatically restores the hotspot configuration if it’s unavailable. Reconfiguration can then be performed through the hotspot.
-
Add a Wi-Fi information backup and restore mechanism. If Wi-Fi is unavailable, the device can first be restored through the Wi-Fi recovery mechanism and then reconfigured through the Wi-Fi loss reconfiguration mechanism.
This should ensure quick Wi-Fi connection recovery.
