I had FB doing a soak test, but I was watching the log files and noticed a retry movement on the X axis. I thought that is strange so I went to look and found parts of a gantry wheel on the floor.
The FB is only one year old and has been in a poly tunnel the whole time so it seems a bit strange.
An one else had a problem like this? I will need to replace the wheel but I don’t know how many to order or is more tyres are going to break in time.
My UTM also has a crack in it running from the spare port, out to the edge which is also strange.
I’m sure there was a forum post within the last ~3 years that reported cracking v-wheels ??!
This seems clearly worth raising an issue with FarmBot BOM material quality !

Unfortunately, I cannot find the wheels or tyres in the Farmbot shop.
I have written to them but am still waiting for a response.
Sorry to hear of the defective wheels @mvillion. We unfortunately had a quality issue in the recent past which is detailed in this post @jsimmonds was referencing: V Wheels Rapidly Degrading
Unfortunately do to a bunch of spam orders I had to disable the free product listing, but I will manually make you an order for a full free replacement set and have them shipped this week.

Sorry to interrupt the thread, but we recently found the same problem with four sets of 1.6 kits after very little use. Could we get the replacement wheels as well? We also have a list of some other parts that we wanted to order and it’d be nice if we could put them in a single order.
