Hi all,
My name’s Jonathan, and I’m the Program and Operations Director for WiseTribe, a 501©(3) nonprofit based in Delray Beach, FL. We currently have two FarmBots deployed in the community, one at a community garden and one at a public middle school, and we’re looking to set up a third at another middle school in the fall (since our growing seasons down here are completely backward).
We’re also looking to set up a working group of mentors, “agri-tinkerers,” and maker/engineer/DIY’ers to mentor students in FarmBot and STEM subjects, as well as help us to develop new and innovative projects that explore the intersection between next-generation technology and small- to large-scale agriculture.
