I’m happy to share a project I’m recently working on. @ClosedCircuit has once posted a water delivery mod which I further developed on. Thanks for sharing the CAD file, and permission to modify it!
It is still under testing, but ready to share.
Some 4mm dia x 2mm thick N35 Neodymium Magnet - 0.38kg pull force need to be placed into the print. You have to stop the print at the begin of layer 19, when using a 0.4mm print nozzle. Ensure that the four magnets are facing in opposite direction on one of the object!
It will be a replacement for my old funnel based multilevel watering. It should fit for a 10mm hose.
I was already thinking about might adding some electric contacts to check if it is snapped or not… Somehow like this: Tool Verification | FarmBot Genesis Documentation. Although if it is fix attached on the raised bed side, the position would be very static, so not required at the moment. Maybe more relevant for docks inside the soil.
