watering device and valve

I have assembled a FarmBot Genesis v1.7 indoors, so I am having difficulty checking if the watering device is working.

I would like to verify whether the watering command, and thus the solenoid valve, is functioning correctly through the peripheral command. How can I do this?

I would like to understand is the valve is opening or not.
There are details on the web about the watering system?
