In the last 24 hours we released a new version of FarmBot OS and the web app. Here is what’s new:
New and improved setup wizard steps
Since releasing the setup wizard earlier this year, we have been paying close attention to all of the feedback forms submitted and investigated where new users get stuck in setting up their FarmBot. The latest release of the web app includes new setup wizard steps, the addition of several videos embedded into the wizard, and more text information for certain troubleshooting steps to help resolve issues more quickly.
Move to home buttons
The controls panel now includes MOVE TO HOME buttons for each individual axis, located in the three-dot popups.
FBOS v14.1.2
The latest version of FarmBot OS resolves some issues with firmware flashing and in some cases a web app interface that was “flashing” between busy and non-busy states. We recommend everyone upgrade to this release as soon as possible, and please let us know if you have any issues during or after the upgrade. Thank you to all of the users who help report and debug this issue with us!
custom.hex firmware
Developers can now easily use custom.hex firmwares by dropping the files into the root partition of the microSD card. See our updated developer documentation for details.
